Nurses from India to Germany

Learn German while studying in India and land a nursing job in Germany!

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new project “Nurses from India to Germany”, a collaborative initiative developed and implemented with our esteemed Indian business partners located in Mumbai, International Trading Corporation.

Objective

The project aims to train and deploy professionals from India in Germany. It addresses the demand for skilled nurses and support staff in German healthcare institutions by providing comprehensive training in various aspects, such as language proficiency in German, software proficiency, professional etiquette, and soft skills. The initiative offers employment opportunities and skill enhancement for Indian nurses, thereby fostering bilateral cooperation and mutual benefit.

The heart of the project

Is the collaboration of the agencies, MPP and ITC, with modern and progressive nursing schools and universities of India, which are ready to gradually enhance their nursing curricula to allow the students’ final qualification to be of a similar structure to the German one. This is to help the students prepare for their future job in Germany and to ease the integration process overall.

Partnerships with universities

During our visit to India in November, we had the privilege of participating in educational conferences and engaging with key stakeholders in nursing education. We presented the advantages of our project and established a mutual interest in a collaborative initiative that aims to address the challenges faced by the nursing labor market in both Germany and India. Consequently, the partner universities prioritized the German language over other foreign languages and made it mandatory for students enrolled in a B.Sc. in Nursing or GNS program.

German language course

A large number of Indian students aspiring to become nurses are offered the opportunity to learn the German language. The learning program includes German language for work, as well as cultural and integration aspects. German language proficiency and cultural awareness are the primary and essential criteria for qualifying for nursing job opportunities in many prestigious institutions in Germany.

Regional press releases

“For the first time in India, such a collaboration has taken place, led by India’s oldest nursing school, L T College Nursing, from where student nurses aspiring to go and work in Germany will not only avail free language learning but also get free recruitment (support) to (find a job) in the German healthcare job market. Through this initiative sealed by a Memorandum of Understanding signed with SNDT University on November 2023 in the presence of Vice-Chancellor of SNDR University, Ujwala Chakradeo.”

from Assignment Abroad Times, India’s exclusive bi-weekly newspaper.

We are very pleased to congratulate the first batch of over 100 nursing students who have completed more than half of the German language course at SNDT University organized by MPP and ITC. They are soon on their way to start their jobs as nurses in Germany. We are proud of your achievements and look forward to seeing you!
